Early Season Promotions For SSCC Members

We are just a few races into the 2007 season, and already several club members have gained promotions. Congratulations to Natalie Willdigg; with 2 wins at the Matlock Div 2/3 and 1 at Sowerby Bridge she is now in Div 1. With wins at Stone, Matlock and Sowerby Bridge, Rosie Bate has shot into Div 2, despite only starting her paddling career last May. Meanwhile, Becky Heath has also made it into Div 2, with some excellent paddling at Stone, Sowerby Bridge and Matlock.

It shouldn't be too long before they are joined by Katie Brownhill and Lara Horne, also newcomers from last May, as they are perched near the top of the Div 3 rankings. Sam Miles also put some good performances in at Sowerby Bridge and so will hopefully be moving up the rankings as the season progresses.
