Stafford & Stone Canoe Club Clear Runs and King Fish Awards 2007

New season, new clear runs competition and already many stickers on the chart. The number of members actually competing is limiting the space for names and my supply of stickers is running low.

Prem paddlers are the early leaders but their limited number of races in the season should give lower division paddlers plenty of opportunity to overtake if they get to plenty of races and stay off the poles.

5 James Bailey, Sarah Chynoweth, Rob Holdway, Rob Neave
4 Laura Blakeman, Tom Brady, Lizzie Neave, Robin Vasey

Rosie Bate has made an early stake for the King Fish title (or should that be Queen?) with 6 swims to date but it’s early days and everything could change with races ahead at HPP for the Div 2 and Div 1 paddlers. Quality of swims is quite important and any video footage is usually much sought after at Oscars time. Mikey’s efforts to get out of the Muncher deserved a special award before he eventually baled out.
