Junior Selection 2006

Another great performance from Stafford and Stone paddlers. Congratulations to Mark Proctor, Greg Pitt and Sarah Chynoweth on gaining selection to the Junior Team and to Rob Downes, George Tatchell and Claire Kimberley for their selection to the under-16 development squad.

Other paddlers have missed out - some very good paddling but not quite holding runs together when needed. Hopefully next year ...

For some of our youngest WCS paddlers the races presented a very good opportunity to gain valuable experience on some challenging courses, and there were some excellent performances. This experience will hopefully also carry forward to future years, inspiring them to train hard and one day the tracksuit could be theirs too.
