Canoeing Opportunities For Beginners

If you'd like to have a go at canoeingn after Easter then the Community Sports Coach will be starting two new beginners groups.

The Junior beginners group will be on Thursday evenings 6-8pm, starting on 26th April.

The adults beginners group will be on Friday evenings, initially 6.30-8pm, starting on 20th April. (the time of this group will change when the usual adult beginners coach returns from a trip to India - the time will then be slightly earlier)

These groups will then continue weekly for the rest of year.

The Community Sports Coach will also be running two taster canoeing sessions open to anyone over the Easter holidays. These will be on Tuesday April 3rd and Wednesday April 11th 10am -12 noon. She can only take 8 in each group so please email in advance to avoid disapointment.

Taster sessions cost £3 each. You are welcome to have 3 taster sessions before being asked to join Stafford & Stone Canoe Club. The membership fee is £40 adults and £28.50 for juniors.

Wear suitable clothing that you don't mind getting wet and bring a complete change of clothes. Do not wear Jeans or heavy cotton clothes, tracksuits and fleeces are ideal.
