Location:
From the South: Exit M6 Junction 14 and head North on A34. Turn right into Stone at the roundabout with the Shell Garage. Cross the river and you will find the canoe club on the right.
From the North: Exit M6 Junction 15. Follow the A500 and then A34 South towards Stone. Turn towards Stone at the Roundabout with the Shell garage. Cross the river and you will find the canoe club on the right.
General information
On behalf of Stafford and stone canoe club I would like to welcome everyone to Stone for this autumn Division 3 and 4 Slalom. I hope that you all have a safe journey and a very enjoyable weekend.
Access to the River can be gained from above the road bridge on river left bank
There is unfortunately no official camping available.
Refreshments available in the clubhouse whilst the events are running.
If there are any problems please report to control, which will be situated in the Club House. Anyone who is interested in being a Judge should report to Control before the entries close at 11:00.
A child must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or nominated adult who shall assume responsibility for the child throughout the time the child is at the event. Neither the BCU nor the event organiser will assume responsibility or be liable for a child who is unaccompanied or unsupervised. Note that while the definition of a child is a person under the age of 18, the statement applies particularly to children under the age of 16.
Also can Competitors who finish their run please stay on the water to act as safety for the next three Competitors.
